LAB 1.2 Remote MikroTik OS RouterBoard

Assalamu'alaikum Wr.Wb
Kali ini saya akan share mengenai cara remote Mikrotik OS RouterBoard
(This time I will share about how remote Mikrotik OS RouterBoard)

A. Tujuan
    (Purpose)

- Dapat mengetahui cara remote MikroTik OS RouterBoard dengan:
  (Can knows how to remote MikroTik OS RouterBoard with):

  1. WinBox (Port 8291)
  2. Telnet melalui (through) Command Prompt / cmd (Port 23)
  3. SSH (Port 22)
  4. Webfig (Port 80)
  5. HyperTerminal (Port COM)

B. Perlengkapan : 
     (Materials) :

  - 1 Unit PC/Notebook
  - RouterBoard / Virtual Mikrotik
  - WinBox
  - Putty
  - HyperTerminal
  - Browser
  - Virtual Box

C. Langkah Kerja
     (Steps)

Setting IP Address pada MikroTik dan Client

(Setting IP Address on MikroTik and Client)

1. Cek interface yang akan digunakan 

(Check the interface to be used)

2. Cek IP Address, ip address masih dalam keadaan kosong karena sebelumnya belum dilakukan konfigurasi pada Mikrotik

(Check the IP address, the IP address is still empty because the previous configuration has not been performed on Mikrotik)

3. Atur IP Address pada MikroTik

(Set the IP Address on MikroTik)

4. Cek kembali IP Address pada Mikrotik, jika sudah seperti gambar dibawah ini berarti IP Address sudah berhasil dikonfigurasi

(Check back IP Address in Mikrotik, if it is as shown below means that the IP address has been successfully configured)

5. Atur IP pada Client menjadi satu jaringan dengan Mikrotik, agar antara server dan client dapat saling terhubung

(Set the IP on the client into a network with Mikrotik, so that between the server and client can be interconnected)

6. Coba lakukan perintah ping dari Mikrotik ke IP Address Client, jika terdapat balasan maka berarti antara Mikrotik dengan client sudah saling terhubung

(Try performing the ping command from Mikrotik to the Client IP Address, if there is a reply then the mean between Mikrotik with each client already connected)

7. Coba lakukan perintah ping dari Client ke IP Address Mikrotik, jika terdapat balasan maka berarti antara client dengan Mikrotik sudah saling terhubung

(Try doing a ping command from the client to the IP Address Mikrotik, if there is then it means that the client replies with Mikrotik already interconnected)

Remote menggunakan WinBox

(Remote use WinBox)

1. Hubungkan RouterBoard ke PC/Notebook melalui kabel UTP, apabila menggunakan Virtual jalankan OS MikroTik pada virtual. Buka WinBox klik "..." lalu pilih connect melalui MAC Address atau IP Address. Pada tutorial kali ini saya connect menggunakan IP Address

(RouterBoard Connect to PC / Notebook via UTP cable, when using virtual OS running on a virtual MikroTik. Open WinBox click "..." and select connect via MAC Address or IP Address. In this tutorial I connect using IP Address)

2. Jika sudah seperti gambar dibawah ini, lalu klik connect

(If it's like the image below, then click connect)

3. Klik "New Terminal" untuk memunculkan terminal mikrotik. Pada bagian kiri juga tersedia untuk konfigurasi MikroTik, diantaranya dapat setting ip address, interface, dan lain sebagainya.

(Click "New Terminal" to bring up the mikrotik terminal. On the left is also available for MikroTik configuration, which can be set ip address, interface, and etc)

4. Remote MikroTik menggunakan WinBox sudah siap untuk memulai 

(Remote MikroTik use WinBox is ready to start)

Remote menggunakan Telnet melalui Command Prompt

 (Remote with  Telnet via Command Prompt)

1. Aktifkan dahulu Aplikasi Telnet pada Client yang terletak di Control Panel » Windows features

(Enable Telnet Client Application formerly located in the Control Panel »Windows features)

2. Buka Command Prompt (cmd)

(Open Command Prompt)

3. Ketikkan "telnet (IP Mikrotik)", kemudian tekan ENTER

(Type "telnet (IP Mikrotik)", and then press ENTER)

4. Ketikkan name user dan password user yang ingin anda pakai untuk meremote, kemudian tekan ENTER

(Type the user name and password you want to use a user to remotely, and then press ENTER)

5. Tekan ENTER untuk melanjutkan

(Press ENTER to continue)

6. Remote MikroTik menggunakan Telnet melalui Command Prompt siap untuk memulai

(Remote MikroTik use Telnet via the Command Prompt ready to start)

Remote menggunakan SSH melalui PuTTY

(Remote use SSH via PuTTY)

1. Buka aplikasi PuTTY anda di Client

(Open your application PuTTY in Client)

2. Pada form "Host Name" ketikkan IP Address mikrotik, jika sudah benar klik Open

(In form "Host Name" type IP Address mikrotik, if it's allright click Open)

3. Jika kita pertama kali masuk dengan Hostname atau IP Address mikrotik tersebut maka akan muncul pop up sebagai berikut, untuk dapat melanjutkan pilih saja "Yes"

(When we first enter the hostname or IP address  Mikrotik will display a pop up as follows, in order to continue just select "Yes") 

4. Ketikkan name user dan password user yang ingin anda pakai untuk meremote, kemudian tekan enter

(Type the user name and password you want to use a user to remotely, then press enter)

5. Tekan Enter untuk melanjutkan

(Press Enter to continue)

6. Remote MikroTik menggunakan SSH melalui PuTTY siap untuk memulai

(Remote MikroTik use SSH via PuTTY ready to start)

Remote menggunakan Webfig 

(Remote use Webfig)

1. Buka browser pada client, pada kolom pencarian ketikkan IP Address mikrotik anda, kemudian tekan Enter

(Open a browser on the client, in the search field type your IP address mikrotik, and then press Enter)

2. Ketikkan name user dan password user yang ingin anda pakai untuk meremote, kemudian pilih "Login"

(Type the user name and password you want to use a user to remotely and then select the "Login") 

3. Remote MikroTik menggunakan WebFig siap untuk memulai

(Remote MikroTik using WebFig ready to start)

Remote menggunakan HyperTerminal 

(Remote use HyperTerminal)

1. Buka aplikasi HyperTerminal di Client, jika muncul pop up seperti ini maka ketikkan nama dan pilih icon koneksi terserah keinginan anda. Jika sudah klik OK

(Open the HyperTerminal application on the client, if a pop-up like this then type the name and choose icon connections up to your liking. If you have click OK)

2. Pada form Host address ketikkan IP Address yang anda konfigurasi pada Mikrotik. Untuk port number dan Connect using biarkan default saja. Kemudian klik OK

(On the form the host name that you type in the IP address configuration on the Mikrotik. For the Connect using port number and leave the default alone. And then click OK)

3. Ketikkan name user dan password user yang ingin anda pakai untuk meremote, kemudian tekan enter

(Type the user name and password you want to use a user to remotely, then press enter)

4. Tekan Enter untuk melanjutkan

(Press Enter to continue)

6. Remote Mikrotik menggunakan HyperTerminal siap untuk memulai

(Remote Mikrotik use HyperTerminal ready to start)
